Red Clover which is also referred to as Clover, Cow Clover, Meadow Clover or Purple
Clover. Red Clover is a common flower found to have therapeutic essence if mixed
with other herbs in the preparation of medicines designed to treat skin disorders.
It is scientifically known as Trifolium Pratense.
Red Clovers are originally found in Europe, Northern Africa and some areas in Asia,
where it grows in abundance. Red Clover or simply Clover belongs to the Fabaceae

are Depurative, Antispasmodic, Diuretic, Expectorant, Phytoestrogen, Tonic and Antifungal.
Red Clovers are basically flowers. However, the evolution of mankind led them to
discover its other uses aside from beautifying the environment and providing food
to the bees.
It was made into a crop, then later an essential herb in curing ailments like bronchitis,
osteoporosis, asthma, skin diseases, open wounds and pains brought about by women?s
monthly menstrual period. It was also said that Red Clover essence is used for cancer
prevention while its juice is made as female tonics.
Tests on animals however show that excessive intake of the Red Clover essence result
in fertility problems.
